With car window decals, you can get in front of customers, even while you’re behind the wheel.

Want to make the most of your time on the road? Car window decals help you raise awareness about your business while you’re on the go. Durable and fully customizable, our decals are easy to add to the back or side windows of your vehicle. And they’re even simpler to maintain: Once the decal is in place, the weather-resistant and waterproof vinyl will keep looking great for up to three years.

Ready to start creating your custom car window decals? First, pick the right placement and material for your decal – clear or see-through perforated vinyl are recommended for back windows, while white vinyl can work well on rear side windows. Next, decide whether you’ll want to apply your decal to the window’s inside glass or outside glass. (See below to learn more.) Then explore our assortment of design templates to find the one that’s right for you and your company branding needs. In a matter of days, you’ll be ready to transform your car, truck or van into a professional-looking company vehicle.

Application Guide

With three steps, you can get your car window decals in place and ready to go.

1. PREP WINDOW
Wash your window surface with mild soap and water.

2. APPLY DECAL
Peel your decal off its backing and place it on the wet glass.

3. SMOOTH DECAL
Start from the center and use a flat edge to remove bubbles.

Printing: Inside- vs. Outside-Glass Options

Which decal printing approach is right for your car windows? Here’s a primer on what each means.

Outside-Glass (First Surface)

Decals cling on the back, with designs displayed on the glass surface. Pick this for vehicles with tinted windows.

Inside-Glass (Second Surface)

Printed on the cling side, designs are seen through your window. This protects the decal from weather and wear.

Material: Clear, White & Perforated Options

We’re proud to provide car window decal options that will help you stand out to customers. That said, safety first: Pick a material that will work with your intended placement – and won’t impede your view as you drive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long will my car window decals last?
A: Window decals have an average lifespan of about three years.

Q: Can I keep my decal on while I wash my car?
A: Yes. You shouldn’t have any issues of the decal falling off or getting damaged.

Q: Can I put a window decal on my windshield or front side window?
A: No. For your safety, we don’t recommend the use of car window decals anywhere that could impede with your driving.

Q: What type of adhesive is used?
A: Transparent polyacrylate – a removable, pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Q: Which material should I pick for my decal?
A: Yes – you’ll just want to make sure that you use outside-glass (first surface) printing.

Q: Can I use window decals on tinted windows?
A: The right answer for you depends largely on where you intend to place your custom car window decal. If you want to display your decal on a rear window, we strongly recommend clear or perforated vinyl – this prevents your view from being impeded as you drive. If you’re adding the decal to a side rear window, our white vinyl may be the right option for you, as it allows for vibrant, full-color printing over the entire decal.

Q: Will my decals stay on when I roll my windows down?
A: With proper application, the decals should stay in place. See the application guide above for tips on our recommended “wet application” method.
