Wedding Programs

Yes. Proofs are essential when you design and print wedding programs. In our online studio, you’ll be able to download a free digital proof. Throughout the printing process, you can create as many proofs as you’d like. This is an easy way to share your ideas for programs with someone else - your partner, a friend or wedding planner. We want you to love the finished product!

We don’t offer custom samples at this time – but you can order a small batch of 10 wedding programs. This is a cost-effective way to see and feel your programs in person before you fully commit. After reviewing the colour and paper, reordering a higher quantity is quick and easy. If you want to make any updates, you’ll be able to edit your design in our studio. Either way, your order – and satisfaction – is absolutely guaranteed.

Wedding programs typically highlight details about the ceremony, while itinerary cards have info on all the various wedding events you’re hosting (the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, farewell brunch, etc.). If you’re ordering itinerary cards, be sure to include dates, times and locations for each event. Transportation info and shuttle details are also helpful.

That all comes down to what you have planned. Itinerary cards are essential if you’re hosting multiple events. As for wedding programs, you may or may not need them depending on the actual ceremony. If your ceremony is on the shorter side, it won’t hurt to skip them. If there’ll be multiple components (prayers, blessings, songs, communion), we strongly suggest including them. Programs are especially handy at multicultural ceremonies and help any guests who are unfamiliar with the proceedings follow along.

Not necessarily. If you have a pile of programs for people to grab from or a dedicated person handing them out, couples and families will probably take a single program to share. In these instances, plan to print 1 program per household plus some extras, just in case. Some couples prefer to leave programs on guests’ chairs prior to the ceremony. If you’re going this route, we advise printing a program for each guest.

What you put in your program depends on the details of your ceremony. We’ve rounded up the most common suggestions along with a few other ideas to consider. Popular suggestions:

• Your names, the date and ceremony location
• A welcome message and/or thank you note to guests
• A rundown of the ceremony proceedings
• Helpful notes or anything you want guests to know, like if you’re having an unplugged ceremony or directions to the reception __Other ideas:

• Song lyrics
• An explanation or summary of any cultural traditions
• A quote or poem
• Fun facts (like how you met!)
• A tribute to a deceased loved one
